Protect Valuables and Prepare Appliances

Have keys, fobs or access codes for both the old and new properties ready to go, along with any visitor parking permits or concierge sign-in details your building requires.

Coordinate Lift Timing

If you've booked a lift slot, make sure everything is ready to load before that window starts. In shared buildings, the lift may need to be shared with other residents, so sticking to the booked time helps the whole move run smoothly.

Communicate Difficult Items

Let the crew know about anything unusual — oversized furniture, awkward stairwells, heavy items — as early as possible so it can be planned for rather than handled on the spot.
